About Simply Massage...
 
Norah McGroarty, massage therapist and owner of Simply Massage, is Nationally Certified by the Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).  Norah also carries a certification through Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
 
     At the highly accredited Institute for Therapeutic Massage in New Jersey, Norah received comprehensive training in the art and science of massage therapy.  Here she completed a hospital-based, advanced massage therapy program in which she was able to learn massage in a true medical setting. 
 
     Norah believes the key to keeping her practice up-to-date, as well as expanding her own knowledge, is participating in various continuing education courses.  With an education base of Swedish massage, Norah is able to incorporate various massage modalities into her sessions.  She has received extensive training in deep tissue, sports, pre-natal and medical massage as well as reiki, reflexology, aromatherapy and myofascial release therapies.
 
All therapists at Simply Massage are properly educated at accredited institutes for massage therapy, are fully licensed and certified in their profession. 
 

Stephanie Yeager is Nationally Certified by the Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and also holds a certification through Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Completing a 600 hour program at the Cortiva Institute – School of Massage Therapy located in King of Prussia, PA, Stephanie received comprehensive training in bodywork and massage therapy.  Here she acquired knowledge of a wide range of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, sports, hot stone, myofascial and craniosacral, in the advanced massage therapy program.

In the coming months, Stephanie plans to develop her skills with prenatal massage and research further with continuing education courses with the goal of becoming a nationally certified doula.  

 

 

Christa Laquinta is Nationally Certified by the Board for Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and also holds a certification through Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

 

Christa graduated from the respected Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and is trained in multiple modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Reflexology, Sports, and Reiki.

 

She also holds a Bachelors in Science and Nursing degree from Duquesne University and also works as a pediatric intensive care nurse. She was an elite member of both high school and Division 1 rowing, and understands the stress that sports and physical activity can have on the body.

 

Christa incorporates many modalities in her sessions, each pertaining to the individual client. Her philosophy in massage is: “Live for the moment. Relax, enjoy, and appreciate your own self.”  That’s what you can expect from Christa.

 


 

Amanda Pagano is Nationally Certified by the Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and also holds a certification through Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Amanda has completed an extensive 900 hour program at Harris School of Business in Wilmington DE. She is adept in various massage modalities in including, Swedish, deep tissue, circulatory, sports massage, hot and cold therapy, lymphatic and stretching.  Amanda is dedicated to furthering her knowledge in the field of massage therapy by attending continuing education course throughout her career.

Amanda has a vast range of experience from working on athletes from the Philadelphia Union Soccer Team to amateur training to everyday clients who are looking for just a relaxing massage!
